Why Your Help Matters
Blessed Michael McGivney, founder of the Knights of Columbus, lived out the corporal works of mercy with deep compassion—especially the call to shelter the homeless. One of the main goals of the KC’s has been to provide financial protection for widows and orphans, so no family would be left homeless due to poverty or tragedy. His vision was practical, yet profoundly spiritual: the Church must be a refuge—materially and spiritually—for all in need. His ministry respected the dignity of life at every stage and fought for the most vulnerable in society.
McGivney Homes seeks to offer this same love and caring to adults with developmental disabilities, another often overlooked segment of our society. By donating to McGivney Homes, you will be helping us to make a real difference by funding program expenses and securing long-term housing in a catholic atmosphere for our current and future residents.
